The original Minotaur became one of Alpha's best-selling holsters. The V3 rebuilds that concept as a flexible, two-piece appendix carry system with greater control over how the firearm and magazine sit against your body.

The result is a complete carry system designed to remain comfortable, stable, and accessible throughout the day.

Flexibility Without the Bulk

The Minotaur connects the firearm holster and magazine carrier with a streamlined Kydex bridge.

The bridge provides enough flexibility for the two sides to move naturally with your body while maintaining the structure needed to keep the system properly positioned on your belt.

The Minotaur maintains a clean, low-profile footprint without unnecessary layers or bulky connection hardware.

Independent Ride-Height Adjustment

Where a firearm and spare magazine ride can have a major effect on comfort, concealment, and accessibility.

The Minotaur allows the ride height of the firearm and magazine carrier to be adjusted independently. This gives you greater control over how deeply each component sits below the belt and how much access remains above it.

Make small adjustments until both the firearm and magazine feel secure, accessible, and properly balanced.

Adjustable Magazine Cant

The magazine carrier includes multiple mounting positions that allow you to adjust its angle independently from the firearm holster.

Changing the magazine cant can help the carrier follow the natural shape of your body, reduce printing, and position the magazine for a more comfortable and consistent reload.

Independent Retention Adjustment

Firearm and magazine retention are adjusted separately.

This allows you to control how securely each item is held and how much resistance you feel during the draw without forcing both sides into the same setting.

Turn the appropriate retention screw clockwise to increase retention or counterclockwise to decrease it. Make adjustments in small increments, approximately one quarter turn at a time, and check the fit after each adjustment.

Always perform retention adjustments and fit checks with the firearm unloaded and the magazine empty.

The goal is not simply to make everything tighter. It is to find the balance that feels secure while still allowing a smooth, consistent draw.

Low-Profile DCC Hardware

The Minotaur comes standard with two DCC Series 1 clips - available in 1.5" or 1.75" sizing.

These low-profile spring-steel clips provide secure belt engagement while distributing the weight of the firearm and loaded magazine across two attachment points.

The clips can be adjusted independently to help fine-tune the ride height and positioning of the complete system.

Why a Concealment Wing?

For many people, the hardest part of concealing a handgun is not the slide. It is the grip.

A concealment wing uses pressure from your belt to gently rotate the grip toward your body. This can reduce printing and help the firearm sit closer without relying on an excessively tight belt.

The Minotaur can be configured with a concealment wing if your setup benefits from the additional concealment.

Built Around Your Firearm

Every Minotaur is formed for the specific firearm model you select, with clearance for modern carry setups including optics, suppressor-height sights, and many threaded barrels or compensators.

The firearm shell, magazine carrier, trigger-guard geometry, sight channel, retention points, and mounting pattern are designed to work together as one complete system.

Your Minotaur is built specifically for the firearm model selected. The included magazine carrier is designed to fit the corresponding factory magazine for that firearm. If you plan to carry a magazine from a different manufacturer or platform, please contact us before placing your order.

Every edge of the Minotaur is carefully rounded and finished to reduce sharp contact points and unnecessary material against the body.

Its streamlined shape, flexible bridge, and independently adjustable components allow the system to be tuned around the person carrying it.

Sweat Guard

The sweat guard is the portion of the holster that extends upward between the firearm and your body. Its purpose is to help create a barrier between your skin and the firearm while also helping guide the firearm back into the holster during reholstering.

Low Sweat Guard: Minimal material above the trigger-guard area for customers who prefer the most open access to the firearm.

Mid Sweat Guard: A balanced option that provides additional coverage while keeping the rear of the slide and controls relatively accessible.

Full Sweat Guard: Extends higher along the slide for the most coverage between the firearm and your body.

There is not one sweat-guard height that works best for everyone. Choose the option that best fits your comfort, carry position, and personal preference.
