The Gryphon - Ultimate Light-Bearing Appendix IWB Holster
The Gryphon - Ultimate Light-Bearing Appendix IWB Holster
Built for the Light. Designed for Carry.
The Gryphon is back.
Originally developed as Alpha's dedicated light-bearing inside-the-waistband holster, the Gryphon returns with an entirely redesigned platform, modern hardware, and a renewed focus on stability, concealment, and everyday comfort.
Built for those who carry a weapon-mounted light but prefer a standalone holster without an integrated magazine carrier, the Gryphon delivers a streamlined appendix carry solution without sacrificing adjustability or security.
Every Gryphon is individually manufactured to order, using a combination of precision CAD design, vacuum-formed Kydex, and careful hand finishing.
A Stable Foundation.
A dependable carry system starts with a stable foundation.
The Gryphon features two Discreet Carry Concepts (DCC) Series 1 clips, providing secure belt attachment and helping maintain consistent holster positioning throughout the day.
Its dual-clip configuration distributes the attachment points across the holster, creating a balanced platform that resists unwanted movement during everyday activity.
An optional ModWing Gen 2 concealment attachment helps rotate the firearm's grip closer to the body, reducing printing while maintaining comfortable access.
Adjustability Where It Matters.
No two people carry exactly alike.
The Gryphon is designed to accommodate individual preferences through adjustable retention and ride height, allowing you to fine-tune the holster to your preferred carry position.
Whether your priority is concealment, comfort, or consistent grip access, the Gryphon gives you the flexibility to dial in your setup.
Designed Around Your Firearm and Light.
A light-bearing holster should be designed specifically for the equipment it carries.
Each Gryphon is manufactured for your selected firearm and compatible weapon-mounted light combination, providing a purpose-built fit rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.
The pistol shell incorporates an optics-ready design, adjustable retention, and an open muzzle to accommodate supported configurations.
Select your firearm, weapon-mounted light, and available customization options to build a Gryphon suited to your setup.

Every Gryphon reflects Alpha's commitment to practical design and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Light-Bearing Carry, Reimagined.

The redesigned Gryphon carries that philosophy forward with a refined shell, modern attachment hardware, and greater adjustability.
Built for the light. Made for everyday carry.
